Unhold processes case and evidence data to help you track bank-freeze matters. Financial case data is retained while your case is active and for three years after closure. Audit logs are retained for eight years.

Unhold uses AI to classify cases, verify uploaded documents (including scanned IDs and bank statements), and draft letters. With your consent, case data — including document images — may be processed by AI providers outside India. You may withdraw AI consent at any time; withdrawal does not delete prior audit logs.

Upload only documents you own or are authorized to share. Never upload net-banking passwords, UPI PINs, OTPs, or full Aadhaar. Mask government ID numbers to last four digits where possible.

You may request erasure of your case within 30 days of closure via the case settings page. Government ID data is stored minimally and masked.
